Suspects sought in Richland shooting that injured one person

Richland County deputies are searching for suspects in a late Thursday afternoon Northeast Richland shooting that left one person injured.

Deputies responding to a shots fired call after 5 p.m. in the 2200 block of Longshadow Lane found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds, Richland County Sheriff’s spokesman Curtis Wilson said.

The victim was taken to a hospital; his condition was unknown.

Deputies are searching the area and questioning witnesses, Wilson said, adding the shooting might involve up to four male suspects.

An investigation is continuing.
