Friday letters: Good Samaritans were at concert

May 10, 2013

— I want to thank the couple who went out of their way to help my 79-year-old sister, who was in a wheel chair, during the Kenny Chesney concert. I had asked several of the people in staff vests how to get to section 902 with a wheel chair. They didn’t have a clue. Training might help hired staff.

The couple saw our problem and took over. The man pushed my sister all the way up to our section. His wife watched me to make sure I could make it. When we finally found an elevator, we were just one level below where we had to go. They stayed with us all the way, even though they were on the other side of the stadium.

I want to let people know that there are still good Samaritans out there.
