May 20, 2013

A $100,000 Palmetto Cash 5 ticket was sold in Columbia over the weekend.

The winning ticket was sold at Cheapway at 5901 N. Main St. in Columbia, according to the SC Education Lottery.

The Palmetto Cash 5 ticket for Saturday’s drawing matched all five numbers drawn to win the $100,000 top prize: 16, 18, 32, 34, and 38.

The ticket buyer did not pay an additional $1 for the “Powered-Up” option, which was three and would have multiplied the winnings to $300,000.

The winner has 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the prize.
