Candidate forum set for seat on Richland 1 board

May 22, 2013

The five candidates seeking a seat on the Richland 1 school board will meet Thursday night at 6 p.m. at a forum sponsored by the League of Women Voters.

The forum will be held at the Milton Kimpson Center of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education at Benedict College, 111 Doctor’s Circle, on the Benedict College campus.

The five – Pamela Adams, Deborah Belton, Doretha Bull, Reginald Sims and Karen Wilson – are seeking the seat left vacant by longtime school board member Barbara Scott. Scott died in March. The special election is set for June 4.
