More teachers to be hired by Lexington 1

May 22, 2013

An improved revenue forecast means school officials plan to add 50 teachers by fall, five more than initially proposed.

More teachers are needed for River Bluff High as it opens this fall and to keep pace with expected growth of 550 students, officials say.

Nearly 23,000 students are in district classrooms across central Lexington County.
