Errors doom Columbia Blowfish in 4-3 loss to Petersburg Generals

The Petersburg Generals (3-14) took advantage of two errors in the eighth inning to score four runs on the way to a 4-3 victory over the Columbia Blowfish (11-8) in Coastal Plain League action in front of 509 fans at Capital City Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Blowfish rallied for three runs in the final two innings, but Lee Howard struck out looking with two men on base to end the game.

David Duncan (0-3) took the loss. He struck out five and walked one, but gave up three runs, one earned, and seven hits over seven innings.
