— A Richland County man is in critical condition after a shooting a Bluff Road nightclub early Saturday morning.

Sheriff’s deputies have determined that an unknown shooter entered Club Hot Shots at 5480 Bluff Road as it was closing and fired multiple shots at the victim, according to sheriff’s department spokesman Deputy Curtis Wilson.

The victim was hit in the upper body and was in critical condition when transported to the hospital, Wilson said. There was no word later in the morning about his condition, Wilson said.

Deputies continue to question witnesses and ask that anyone with information about the shooting to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC, or 1-888-274-6372.
