Australian Brendan Jones closed with his second straight 4-under 68 on Sunday to win the Mizuno Open by three strokes.

Jones finished at 19-under-par 269. This was his 13th win on the Japan Tour and with the victory earned a spot in the British Open.

The Australian birdied the fifth and followed with an eagle on the par-5 sixth. He moved to 19-under with a birdie on the eighth, but he gave that stroke right back with a bogey on No. 9 at JFE Setonaikai Golf Club.

Jones traded a birdie for a bogey from the 11th and again from the 14th. He birdied the last to seal the win.
