Columbia police seek help finding man missing from care facility

Columbia police are asking for the public’s help to find a man rmissing from an Eau Claire area care facility.

Some time Saturday night, according to police, Leon Harrison left the facility, in the 800 block of Duke Avenue. He has not returned.

Harrison has some health issues and is on medication to control seizures, police said Monday.

He has a history of walking away from care facilities and wandering until being found, police said, noting he has a brother in Savannah. Harrison grew up in the are of 4500 Monticello Avenue.

Anyone with information should contact Columbia police or your local law enforcement agency.
