DC Arendas leads Columbia Blowfish past Gastonia

Blowfish hold off Grizzlies

GASTONIA, N.C. — DC Arendas drove in three runs on two hits and stole three bases as the Columbia Blowfish knocked off the Gastonia Grizzlies, 6-4, on Monday.

Arendas has the big during a five-run first inning, driving in two runs with a single. He later scored on a wild pitch after stealing second and third. David Duncan (2-3) scattered four hits and struck out six in six innings for the Blowfish (18-11). Derrick Smith struck out five in three scoreless innings for his fifth save.
