— A broken 10 inch water main has prompted Columbia Water Works officials to issue a boil water advisory for residents/businesses on Sunbelt Boulevard and Windhill Drive.

Water customers are urged to boil any water used for drinking or food preparation for at least 60 seconds before use.

Anyone living near the effected area off Monticello Road near Interstate 20 who experienced a drop in water pressure should follow these same precautions to reduce the risk of illness from potential bacteriological contamination.
