Wednesday letters: Trial a reversal of the O.J. case

I certainly can identify with those who are upset about the verdict in the George Zimmerman trial. That is exactly how I felt after the O.J. Simpson trial. It was unbelievable that he got away with the cold-blooded murder of two people, and “stand your ground” had nothing to do with it.

He was tried by a jury and found not guilty. We just had to accept that this is our justice system and a jury had spoken.

At least in the Simpson case we saw pictures of the victims as they really looked when they were killed, not how they looked when they were 9 or 10 years old.

Many TV stations showed only pictures of Trayvon as a child, not what he looked like at 17 years old.
