— Clemson has hired Joe Galbraith to oversee its revamped athletic communications department.

Athletics director Dan Radakovich announced the move Friday. Galbraith comes to the Tigers after eight years at Mississippi State.

Radakovich said Gailbraith will be assistant athletics director for communications. Radakovich said the school’s sports information department will be renamed Athletic Communications and that Gailbraith would work alongside longterm sports information director Tim Bourret.

Radakovich said Bourret would move into the role of assistant athletics director for football communications.
