Cardinal Newman School announces move to new campus in fall 2015

Columbia - The StateAugust 15, 2013 

— Cardinal Newman has targeted the fall of 2015 to move to its new location on Alpine Road, principal Jacqualine Kasprowski said.

The announcement was made to the Cardinal Newman faculty and staff, the advisory board, and the Phase I Capital Campaign Committee. School families and campaign donors were notified via email and letters, according to a news release.

Among details Kasprowski revealed:

— Cardinal Newman has been given permission by Bishop Guglielmone to have its architect for the new campus project do design and development drawings. A total project cost will be established, based on the final drawings.

— Cardinal Newman School, in full partnership with the diocesan chief financial officer, will use this information to finalize financing for the project.

Cardinal Newman School, serving grades seven through 12, is currently on Forest Drive.
