— I read with interest the Aug. 11 article about the surgeon praying with his patients prior to surgery. We have our own surgeon who offers to pray prior to surgery: Dr. Cynthia Snell, an ophthalmologist who performs her surgery at Providence. You cannot imagine how secure and spiritual it makes you feel when you know that she is asking God to guide her hands as she performs these surgeries that will make you whole again.

God Bless you, Dr. Snell, and thank you from all the patients you have cured.
