Art exhibit

The McMaster Gallery in the USC Art Department presents Seagrove: Traditions in Clay Thursday through Oct. 4 at 1615 Senate St. This exhibition features ceramics from 11 potters from the Seagrove pottery community of North Carolina. Musical mystery theatre

The Fine Arts Center of Forest Acres presents “The Altos: Like the Sopranos, Only Lower!” beginning Friday at 6:45 p.m. at 3400 Forest Drive, Suite 2038 (above Barnes & Noble). Written by David Landau, this interactive musical mystery is a spoof on the famous HBO series. Future shows are 6:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, Aug. 31 and Sept. 6, and 4:45 p.m. Sept. 1 and 8. Jubilee: Festival of Heritage

On Saturday, join others at the Mann-Simons historic site at 1403 Richland St. for fun, food and entertainment. The festival is 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Take tours of the historic site and learn about the family who lived on the property for more than 140 years. Details: historiccolumbia.org
