If you looked up Thursday and saw blue, thats what the sky looks like when its not full of clouds. Its been a long time since the sky over South Carolina has been mostly blue for most of a day.
The Congaree and Edisto rivers still were slightly above flood stage Thursday afternoon, and puddles remain in plenty of shady spots. But theres only a 25 percent chance of rain in the Columbia area Friday and Saturday and near zero chance on Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Thats the driest four-day forecast since early June.
