Burglar sought in Spring Valley County Club break-in

— Sometime between 2 a.m. Thursday, August 15, and Friday , August 16, someone broke into the Spring Valley County Club and stole a cash register containing money and some beer, the Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott said in a news release.

Richland County authorities released surveillance photos on Tuesday of a ‘person of interest’ in the break-in at 300 Spring Valley Road.

The burglar forced open a sliding glass door into the club’s pool and snack bar. A glass window into the club’s Golf Shop was also broken.

Authorities are seeking the identity of the person captured by surveillance video.
