Friday letters: Slow down, you speak too fast

August 30, 2013

— It seems that young people are speaking faster every day. They do not seem to care whether you get the message but only how many words they can get in.

They apparently don’t realize that 10 words we can understand mean much more than 20 words that sound like machine gun fire.

This also goes for people on TV who refuse to stop talking. I will not support a cause if the message sounds like it is on fire.
