USC police seek two men after computer disappears from building

COLUMBIA, SC The University of South Carolina and S.C. Crimestoppers are asking for the public’s help in solving a four-month old crime.

Authorities are searching for two people of interest who may be connected to a missing Lenovo table computer that was taken May 4 from a locked room in the LaConte Academic Building, according to an e-mailed notice from S.C. Crimestoppers.

Anyone able to identify the people of interest or with information about the theft should call USC Division of Law Enforcement and Safety Investigator April Owens at (803) 777-8400 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-274-6373.
