Man sought in robbery of South Congaree business

Suspect in Dollar General robbery in South Congaree

— South Congaree Police are searching for a man involved in robbing the Dollar General on Main Street on Labor Day.

The unknown suspect entered the business at approximately 7:10 a.m. Sept. 2, according to a Crimestoppers news release, using a black handgun to force the clerk in the front door.

This suspect is approximately 5-foot-8 and was wearing black gloves, a white T-shirt, a black hat and white shoes.
