Josiah Washington

— The honors continue for teen “Jeopardy” champion Josiah Washington.

Josiah, 13, won $22,200 on the quiz show, which was taped in February and broadcast in August. He will be recognized, along with his younger sister, by Richland County Council at its Tuesday meeting.

Josiah, who volunteers with the Richland Library, will be presented with a resolution for his success on the show. Both Josiah and Micah will be recognized for speaking on behalf of the library at the county’s budget public hearing.

Councilman Norman Jackson will present the recognitions to the Washington family, which lives in his district.

The Richland County Council will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday in Council Chambers at 2020 Hampton St.
