Three arrested after Springdale marijuana operation found

— Three people were charged Tuesday after a small marijuana grow operation was discovered in Springdale.

An anonymous tip led to an investigation by the Springdale Police Department at 2608 Crest Drive, in the northeast corner of the town of 2,600. Officers searched the residence shortly before noon Tuesday and found one person taking care of two adult marijuana plants in the back yard, according to a release from the police department. Inside, officers found additional marijuana, drug paraphernalia and a gun.

Arrested and charged were: Curtis Aukerman, 28, for possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing marijuana and manufacturing marijuana within a half mile of a school; Sean Sammons, 27, for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana; and Ashleigh Nobbs, 26, for possession of drug paraphernalia.
