USC: Man sought after female grabbed on Lincoln Street

— University of South Carolina police are looking for a male suspect after a female walking near the Strom Thurmond parking lot was grabbed “inappropriately” on Tuesday evening.

According to a USC crime bulletin, the second-degree assault was reported around 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Lincoln Street.

A female said an Hispanic male in his 30s, with facial hair and wearing a white hat, approached her and asked for directions. As she was walked away, the suspect grabbed her and then left the area.
