Motorists using a portion of Interstate 20 in Northeast Richland where the road is being widened will find more traffic detours in coming days, the S.C. Department of Transportation announced Monday.
From 7 p.m. Monday through 6 a.m. Tuesday, the right lane of eastbound I-20 will be closed, from I-77 to Clemson Road. This will result in the closure of the I-77/Alpine Road on-ramp and the Clemson Road off-ramp. Traffic will be detoured to Percival Road.
In addition, the portion of Alpine Road under I-20 will be closed 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday night through Sunday morning.
