Lehman moves 1 clear at Pebble Beach

Tom Lehman posted his second 5-under 67 in as many days Saturday and moved one stroke clear of the field after two rounds of the First Tee Open.

Lehman, who tied for third at this event in 2009, finished 36 holes at 10- under-par 134. He will go for his eighth Champions Tour title on Sunday.

Russ Cochran also carded a 67 in round two to finish two days at minus-9. He is alone in second place, while first-round leader Bernhard Langer (74) and defending champion Kirk Triplett (70) are tied for third at 7-under 137.

Seven of the top eight players on the leaderboard played at Pebble Beach on Saturday. Chien Soon Lu carded a 67 at Del Monte to move into a share of fifth at minus-6.

Lu was joined there by John Cook (68), Dan Forsman (70) and Doug Garwood (71).

After splitting the first 36 holes on the two courses, the final round will be contested at Pebble Beach.
