— Prior to the government shuts down, I asserted that if it did happen, we could be assured the last thing to go would be the first thing we could do without — the Congress. That’s our biggest government waste: a do-nothing, nonfunctioning bunch of egocentric politicians whose chief purpose is to get re-elected.
