Teens arrested after Lexington County break-in

— Two teenagers have been arrested following a garage break-in near Gilbert.

Dalton Wayne Heywood, 17, of Leesville and Travis James Trapp, 17, of Monetta are charged with third-degree burglary in the case of two stolen tool boxes, one battery charger and one arc welder.

According to the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, two teens entered a garage on Green Hills Drive at about 4 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies found one of the tool boxes in the bed of a pickup truck parked outside the garage. It was registered to a relative of Trapp’s. The other tool box was being carried out of the garage by the teens.
