Authorities are seeking a man who stole money from a Garners Ferry Road convenience store.

The Richland County Sheriff’s Department said the suspect pretended to buy items last week at the Pitt Stop, 7911 Garners Ferry Road. But once the clerk opened the register, the man reached over and stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male, with facial hair, who was wearing a light blue shirt with white stripe around the collar, white T-shirt underneath, light blue ball cap, and dark pants.
