Man shot driving in St. Andrews

A man driving a friend home in St. Andrews on Monday night was shot in the upper body.

Sgt. Curtis Wilson with the Richland County Sheriff's Office said the victim was driving at about 9:40 p.m. on Marley Drive, off Broad River Road near Interstate 20, when the car was fired upon. The man was struck in the upper body.

Wilson said the victim drove himself to Lexington Medical Center and was in stable condition.
