— A Columbia man killed in an I-20 crash a week ago has been identified.

Wendell C. Gordon, 44, was killed when his motorcycle ran into the back of a car near Mile Marker 77, according to Richland County Coroner Gary Watts. Gordon was transported to Richland Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash, during rush hour and near I-20’s intersection with I-77, blocked and delayed traffic for much of the afternoon.
