One person killed in Richland Co. crash

RICHLAND COUNTY One person was killed late Sunday evening when the driver crossed a center-line and ran head-on into another vehicle.

Cpl. Sonny Collins with the S.C. Highway Patrol said the two-vehicle crash occurred at about 11:30 p.m. on Old Percival Road. One vehicle, traveling east, crossed the center line and crashed head-on into a vehicle traveling west.

No charges are expected. Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has not identified the person killed. No information about the other driver or passengers was released by the SCHP.
