Fly in a 1929 Ford airplane this weekend

Flights in a 1929 Ford Trimotor, owned by The Experimental Aircraft Association, will be offered Friday thru Sunday at Owens Field. Flights are $75 for adults and $50 for children. The event runs daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Trimotor was the world’s first mass produced airliner. It was built by the Ford Motor Company and seats 9 passengers.

There will be collection boxes for non perishable food for Harvest Hope Food Bank at the staging area near the Eagle Aviation maintenance hangar.
