— Three men were arrested Thursday, charged in a home invasion and armed robbery two days earlier in Prosperity.

One suspect remains at large, according to the Newberrry Sheriff's Office.

The three Prosperity men arrested — Phillip Dominick, 25, 988 Langford St.; Garian Jaleel Greenwood, 17, 101 Stanza Hill Road; and Markevis Daiman Kinard, 20, 430 Lang Wise Road — have been charged with armed robbery, burglary and kidnapping.

A fourth man — Randevious Hi-Keem Sims, 18, of 102 Byrd St., Newberry — is sought by law enforcement. The men, who were acquaintances of the victim, approached the victim at gunpoint in his yard and stole money. They then forced him into the house where they sought more money and items, according to the sheriff's office.

“This crime absolutely shook a great community and we want to assure them that there are safe,” said Sheriff Lee Foster in a news release. “This was not a random act of violence, but rather a targeted crime based on the suspect’s relationship and knowledge of the victim.

"Members of the community may rest assured that they are well protected and safe in their homes.”

If you have any information about this crime or the whereabouts of the Sims, contact the Newberry County Sheriff’s Office at (803) 321-2222.
