Palmetto Health Hospice hosts bereavement camp

October 26, 2013

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (AP) – Palmetto Health Hospice is sponsoring a special camp that offers children and families a safe place to grieve.

Brett's Rainbow Family Bereavement Camp is scheduled for Saturday at Westwood High School in Blythewood.

The camp has been going on for 21 years and is designed for children ages 5 to 18 years old who have experienced the death of a relative.

The camp also includes daylong activities for the children's parents or guardians. Events are free of charge thanks to community contributions to Palmetto Health Hospice and a grant from the Hospice Education Institute.
