Richland deputies seek suspect in Northeast Richland restaurant theft

— Richland County deputies are looking for the suspect who robbed a Northeast Richland theft.

Sheriff Leon Lott said just before 8 p.m. Oct. 23 at the Subway, 9153 Two Notch Road, a man brought items up to the counter to purchase, then reached over and grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from a cash register drawer once the clerk opened it. The suspect then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid to late 20’s with an untrimmed mustache, about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and 190-200 pounds. He was wearing a dark gray jacket with the Michael Jordan emblem, dark colored ball cap with the Michael Jordan emblem, and dark pants.
