Two suspects sought in area robberies

— The Richland County Sheriff’s Department released a new video Thursday of two suspects wanted in larcenies from area shoppers.

Just after 5 p.m. Oct. 22 at 9810 Two Notch Road, a victim was loading her groceries into her vehicle at Food Lion when a suspect stole her purse. Stolen credit cards were used in an area businesses by a male and a female. The suspects charged more than $1,500 on the cards.

Sgt. Curtis Wilson with the sheriff’s department said the two suspects struck again at the Bi-Lo at 3315 Broad River Road occurred on Tuesday.

The suspect vehicle is described as a Silver sedan, possibly a Mitsubishi.

Sheriff Leon Lott is asking for help locating or identifying the suspects. He asked residents to call, email or text your anonymous tip to or 888-CRIME-SC.
