LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC Lexington County authorities released photos of some high-tech and not-so-high-tech gear used to inspect and repair sewer lines that was stolen last month from a property on Founders Court near Lexington.
Between 6 p.m. Oct. 21 and 8 p.m. Oct. 22, someone made off with a utility trailer filled with gear worth an estimated $115,360, Sheriff James Metts said in a news release. An RST Sewer Main Line camera worth about $65,000 is among the missing equipment stolen.
Anyone with information about the person or persons responsible for the theft is asked to contact the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department at (803) 785-8230 or CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Citizens also can provide information anonymously by accessing the Crime Tip link on the Sheriff’s Department web site (www.lexingtonsheriff.com).
