— Reenactments at the Revolutionary War Days in Camden has begun.

The Nevel family from Anderson are spending the weekend in Camden dressed in Colonial garb to participate the Revolutionary War reenactment.

Eric Nevel played Go Fish Saturday morning with his kids before going to practice for battle.

His 11-year-old son Michael can't wait until he's old enough to fight, too.

But 9-year-old Karissa just enjoys the entertainment.

"I love to watch our dad die," Karissa said giggling.

Revolutionary War Field Days is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Historic Camden Revolutionary War Site, 222 Broad St., Camden. Daily admission is $8; seniors and military, $6; ages 6-12, $4; age 5 and younger, free. Family package (two adults and three children 12 and younger), $20. Free parking, no pets, please.
