Suspect sought for theft from motor vehicle

— The Richland County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a suspect wanted for theft from a motor vehicle at 1800 Killian Lake Drive.

According to police, the suspect entered an unlocked vehicle sometime between 10 p.m. Sept. 20 and noon Sept. 21 and stole a South Carolina drivers license, a USAA ATM card, Wells Fargo ATM card, Military ID, WalMart card and a wedding ring valued at $800.

The Department released images of the suspect attempting to use the USAA card on Sept. 21 at the Bank of America ATM, 8810 Farrow Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
