Suspect sought in multiple vehicle break-ins

— The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the person responsible for breaking into multiple vehicles illegally parked at homes in the Timberlake Plantation neighborhood near Chapin about 2 a.m. on Oct. 30.

The department on Monday released three surveillance camera photographs of the suspect.

According to Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts, the suspect left the scene in a green 2003 Nissan Xterra sport utility vehicle that had been reported stolen in Richland County.

Anyone with information is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIMESC.
