Accidents reportedly snarling traffic in both directions on I-20

SOUTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC The South Carolina Highway Patrol is working numerous accidents on Interstate 20. Although none appears to be serious, they’re having a serious impact on rush hour traffic.

Accidents are reported on the westbound side at mile markers 80, 78, and 64 in Richland County and mile marker 59 in Lexington County. On the eastbound side, accidents are reported at mile markers 55 and 59 in Lexington County.

Some travelers have reported on social media that traffic is at a standstill.
