The following will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.

GOVERNMENT

• Federal offices will be closed today.

• Fort Jackson offices will be closed today.

• State government offices will be closed today.

• Richland County offices will be closed today. Solid waste collection will remain on schedule.

Lexington County offices will be closed today. Solid waste collection will remain on schedule.

• Kershaw County offices will be closed today.

• Columbia city offices will be open today. Solid waste collection will remain on schedule.

• Forest Acres city offices will be closed today. Solid waste collection will remain on schedule.

• Lexington town offices will be closed today. Solid waste collection will remain on schedule.

• West Columbia town hall and city offices will be closed today. Today’s solid waste will be collected Tuesday.

Cayce city town hall and city offices will be closed today. Today’s solid waste will be collected Wednesday.

• Irmo town offices will be open today. Solid waste collection will remain on schedule.

• Batesburg-Leesville offices will be open today. Solid waste collection will remain on schedule.

• Springdale town offices will be closed today. Solid waste collection will remain on schedule.

• The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed today.

SERVICES/BANKS

• Post offices will be closed today.

Many banks and credit unions will be closed today. Check with your branch to verify.

• Lexington’s Joint Municipal Water and Sewer Commission offices will be closed today.

Richland County Recreation Commission offices, recreation and community centers will be closed today. LinRick golf course will be open today.

LIBRARIES/MUSEUMS/ZOO

• Lexington County Public Library System, including all branch locations, will be closed today.

• Kershaw County Library will be closed today.

• The State Museum will be open today

• The S.C. Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum will be open today.

The S.C. Military Museum on National Guard Road will be closed Monday.

THE STATE

• The State newspaper’s advertising, business and circulation departments will be open today..
