PAALS Graduation ceremony slated for Friday

Palmetto Animal Assisted Life Services (PAALS) will hold its 2013 graduation ceremony from 6-7 p.m. Friday at the Lourie Center, 1650 Park Circle.

The ceremony will recognize Assistance Dog Team graduates Jory Fleming and his autism/medication service dog, Daisy, and Mary Seamon and her mobility service dog, Dapper.

PAALS will also recognize VIP placement recipients Vince Byrne and his VIP dog, Earle; Dallas Edwards and his VIP dog, Ginger; Fred Grooms and his VIP dog, Wylie; and G.L. Murphy and his VIP dog, Ceva. VIP dogs (Veterans Important PAALS) are placed with veterans through the Rob’s Best Friend Fund program.
