Three charged with operating mobile meth lab

— Three Orangeburg residents were arrested Monday, charged with possessing items to manufacture methamphetamine following a traffic stop.

The three were initially stopped on Shillings Bridge Road by the S.C. Highway Patrol. The troopers, according to a press release from the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Department, found a mobile meth lab in the trunk.

Will Rogers Mitchum Jr., 21, was charged with manufacturing/ distribution of methamphetamine as well as driving under suspension. He has been released on a $20,000 bond.

Shane Allen Russell, 25, was charged with manufacturing/ distribution of methamphetamine. He was released on a $20,000 bond.

Fran Nicole Roberts, 18, was charged with manufacturing/ distribution of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $20,000 but Roberts was being held on other charges.
