— Two men robbed a business that provides anger management classes Monday night in Spartanburg.

At 6 p.m., Spartanburg Public Safety Department officers responded to Family, You Can't Beat Them at 200 College St. According to an incident report, the business offers anger management classes to those with previous problems with violence toward family members.

Two employees told officers that two men, 20 to 25 years old, walked past the front counter, and when confronted, said they were there for “group” anger management classes. One of the employees said she didn't recognize the men, one of whom then gave her a name and said, “You know why we are here. Let's not do this,” according to the report. The man then pulled a black handgun from his waistband, cocked it and pointed it at the woman. He then grabbed a sum of cash and fled the business.

The two men hopped into a black four-door Honda and sped off.
