'Internet Pimp' sentenced to 14 years in federal prison

— A 24-year-old Bloods gang member was sentenced to 14 years in federal prison Monday for drug trafficking, robberies and prostituting minors.

According to U.S. District Attorney Bill Nettles, Joshua “Metro” Kitt of Columbia received the sentence of 14 years for conspiracty to commit racketeering.

Nettles said evidence showed Kitt participated in drug trafficking, robberies and interstate prostitution of women and minor girls. The evidence also proved Kitt, along with fellow gang members, used an internet website to post classified advertisments.

Kitt admitted in a plea agreement to drug trafficking and robbery and the prostitution charges.
