28-year-old arrested for night club shooting

— A 28-year-old has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the Aug. 10 shooting at the Big T night club in Barnwell.

Benjamin Badger of Martin, was charged with two counts of attempted murder. If convicted on the felony charge, Badger could face 30 years in prison.

According to a warrant, Badger shot several times into a blue Crown Victoria and struck Derrick Bernard Smalls in the left shoulder.

Badger was booked at the Barnwell County Detention Center.
