$4000 golf cart stolen from Lexington home

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department released this photo of the 2009 E-Z-GO golf cart stolen from a home on Bradfield Court near Lexington.

— The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the person or persons who stole a dark gray 2009 E-Z-GO golf cart worth about $4000.

The department released a photo of the golf cart, which was stolen about 4:30 a.m. Nov. 16 while parked outside a home on Bradfield Court near Lexington.

Lexington County Sheriff James R. Metts said the owner uses the golf cart as his primary means of transportation.

The golf cart has a stereo system, over-size tires and headlights. There are University of South Carolina Gamecock stickers on the windshield and back of the cart.
