Richland County

— Two new members will be seated next month on the Richland County Planning Commission.

They are:

• Marilynn Joyner, 24, a commercial real-estate broker for NAI Avant, who lives in Forest Acres

• Greg Lehman, 56, land-acquisition manager for Ryan Homes, who lives in Blythewood

The two were elected Tuesday by Richland County Council. Terms are four years.

They will be seated Dec. 2, replacing lawyer Kathleen McDaniel and Olin Westbrook, a retired administrator in veterans housing. Both served just one term.

The nine-member planning commission steers growth policies and land-use zoning, which affects individual development projects. Their decisions serve as recommendations to the council.
